1.Anyone who wants to conquer English , must, at least , it seems to me, have indomitable spirit and a burning desire to learn.I strongly recommend the three “p”s , that is “practice, patience, and perseverance’.Practice makes perfect, pateince works wonders, and perseverance makes masters!”

2 It is not your ability , but your attitude, sometimes that really matters.

3 Family time is more important than something worldly things. By sharing your time with your children and wife, you make your love felt by your children, and share wisdom, happiness, values with them.Parents are the first and foremost teacher, yes, it can’tr be truer.I need to spend more time with my kids and beloved wife.Be sensitive to their needs.

4 Love is the best cure of anxiety and worry and other negative feelings. Love, when we love love unconditionlly, can make us feel good and healthy. ” Do small things with great love,” shall be the guiding principle for me.

5 The most importamnt thing is not worrry anout the distant future, but do what can be done at the moment. The best preparation for tomorrow is to put all your efforts, enthusiasm, passion into your job, and try to do it as well as you can.

My exchange year in USA

September 30th, 2009

I was an exchange student in America last semester. There are some experiences I want to share with you.
Bourbon County High School was the school I went to and it is located in Paris, Kentucky. The schools in America were pretty different from the ones here in China. The school usually starts at 8:20am and ends up at 3:25 in the afternoon on weekdays. Usually Students don’t attend classes on weekends. In the school, students can choose subjects they want to take every year, but English, math and history must be taken to make sure students get enough grades for graduating from high school. Every day, students go from class to class. Between each period, there is 5 minute break for them to change books from their lockers—–each person has his or her private locker and password in the hallway.

My favorite subjects were Calculus and Fashion Design because Calculus is kind of easy for a Chinese student to learn. And I awfully enjoyed having Fashion Design since I had never got a chance to learn it in China. American schools attach great importance to students’ creativity so they chiefly require students to use their own imagination to do things such as tabloid, poster, gardening, speech competition. And physical education is also an essential part when you study in America. For instance, if you are very professional in football and play for the school team, the school will speak highly of you and probably award you an honor medal.

Students of our age in America drive their own cars to school and have part-time jobs after school. If they are late for school three times in one week, the school will take away their drive licenses so they couldn’t drive cars for one week. Part-time job can add grades to students during the school year. As far as we are concerned, development in an all-round way is needed when you study in America.

There is another important thing for a foreign student to know is that you should try to communicate with others when you study in a foreign country. Don’t be shy when you see foreigners and never be afraid to make a mistake when you talk to them. If you don’t speak out, they will never know what you are thinking about. But if you talk to them, even if you make mistakes they will know that you treat them as friends and help you correct those mistakes. When you live in a foreign country, you always need to remember to be active and out-going.

After all, it is a very unusual experience for me to study in America and I hope I can go back to revisit the same places and friends there.

Uggs with furry toeholes

September 30th, 2009

UGG boots are casual. Who wears Uggs with their cocktail dress? Who wears Uggs UGG 09 Latest Bootswith their tuxedo? Even the Australians aren’t doing that, www.myugleahy.com and they’re the ones who’ve cursed us with the squishy-comfy-I’m-walking-on-a-mattress-ugly-guilty-pleasure of www.timbesema.com their footwear. I give you full permission to slap anyone you see wearing Uggs at a formal event. That’s right. I’m condoning violence. Don’t hit too hard, okay? Maybe just a firm pat on the buttocks. With…wait for it…bazillion dollar idea…an uggsmack paddle

I clicked the “Casuals” button. Know what? Some of these shoes are pretty cute! Some of these shoes are utter disasters. Most importantly, though, I have added the term “furry toehole” to my vocabulary. See at top right the women’s Malta.
That is all. I’ll be busy crafting a wooden uggsmack paddle to fit in my evening purse.

Of course

September 29th, 2009

Of course, there is still plenty of bad news to report. Retailers reduced orders placed with their suppliers in August more than they did each of the last 2 months. This reduction is expected to continue into September. Both retailers and their customers consider stock levels to be as low as they should go with consumer demands often not being met right now. Many shoppers are going online to buy merchandise like uniforms and cheap t-shirts.

The CBI also surveyed employment conditions and 41 percent of the businesses had cut staff. But retail prices are beginning to rise again which will be good for sales. Andy Clarke is the Chairman of the CBI Distributive Trades Panel and the Chief Operating Officer of Asda. He said, “These results round off a slow and disappointing summer for many in the high street, and the picture is not set to improve in September. Stock levels have been pared right back as retailers have adapted to weaker consumer demand. However, throughout the year retailers have become less and less negative about the business outlook, and that reflects increasing signs of stability in the wider economy.”
